I’m always impressed by the quality of the student work flowing from Supinfocom, the French animation school. Machu Picchu Post lives up to that expectation, with a playful story about a Peruvian boy, a paper plane and a pet llama. This short 3D student film was created in 2008 by Clement Crocq, Margaux Durand-Rival and Nicolas Novali, with audio by Thomas Vaquié. View Video

Ancient legend has it, that Chinese poet Sima Xiangru pined for the affection of the widowed lady Zhou Wenjun. The poet was afraid to tell her of his love, so he went down to the lake where he played the guqin (a form of zither) with great beauty and affection. The music was so powerful it caused the water in the lake to come forth in fanciful shapes which revealed his love for the lady. The premium spirit WenJun was named after the lady Zhou. View Video
